When it comes to weather, I pay attention to two groups: meteorologists and storm chasers. The second group is warning that Missouri is about to enter a very dangerous weather pattern that looks set to begin in just days.

I normally wait until I receive an official advisory from NOAA's Storm Prediction Center before sharing a storm warning here, but I'm seeing multitudes of digital meteorologists and storm chasers sounding the alarm about a storm pattern that Missouri is about to be right in the middle of. Here are their warnings so you can see them for yourself.

Ryan Hall just shared his own take on this upcoming change of the weather just a few minutes ago as I began writing this. He sees the same troublesome conditions developing.

What does the National Weather Service say about this?

The NWS/NOAA Storm Prediction Center now has put most of Missouri under an advisory for the development of severe storms on Monday, April 13.

What should you do with this storm chaser warning if you live in Missouri?

If I were you, I would just start paying closer attention to the weather once we get closer to this upcoming weekend. If this trough of storm fuel develops the way a number of these weather experts believe, it won't take long before the National Weather Service and NOAA's Storm Prediction Center issue advisories. All I know for sure is I have learned to pay attention when multiple storm chasers start pointing at the same weather model. They make a living chasing strong storms, so if this upcoming weather pattern has their attention, it has mine also.
