General Mills has just notified the state of Missouri of an imminent plant closure that will result in a mass layoff of workers. 163 employees will be jobless in a couple months.

The Missouri Jobs site has the sad news of a plant closure that General Mills has announced for their facility at 3850 Millstone Parkway in Saint Charles, Missouri.

The WARN Notice submitted to the state of Missouri by General Mills says the following:

"General Mills Operations LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Mills, Inc., will be closing its plant located at 3850 Millstone Pkwy, Saint Charles, MO 63301. The closing will be permanent. We expect the job eliminations to occur on or about June 8, 2026, or within fourteen (14) days of that date."

The Missouri Jobs site says that 163 workers at this Saint Charles, Missouri plant will be impacted by this closure which is scheduled to happen in June. As this is a developing story, it will be updated once new information is released.
