50 Snobbiest Places in Missouri for 2026 Unfiltered

Would you like fair warning about the Missouri places where you're most likely to get a cold shoulder? There's a new list of the 50 locations in Missouri that are considered the most snobby in the state and I've completely removed all the filters.

How does someone determine whether a Missouri place is snobby or not? In this case, I asked ChatGPT to look at all the data in Missouri using a composite index heavily weighted toward income, with education and housing wealth. I also queried the machine to factor in online reviews from all the neighborhoods in Missouri to determine which places were snobbier than the rest. To my surprise, ChatGPT gave me more than I asked for breaking the top 50 snobbiest places into 4 neat categories:

• Tier 1 – Ultra-elite enclaves (Top 10)
• Tier 2 – Wealthy suburbs & gated communities (11–25)
• Tier 3 – Affluent, highly educated metros (26–40)
• Tier 4 – Upper-middle-class / rising “status” areas (41–50)

With all that under consideration, here are the 50 snobbiest places in Missouri for 2026. If you find your place on this list and get mad about it, that means you're probably just a snob. Or, maybe not. Either way, enjoy.

Full disclosure: I have known people from nearly every place on this list. They are all fine individuals and only a couple really deserve the snob label, but they wear it well. Being a snob doesn't make a person mean. It just means they're more likely to not want to waste time on Missourians like me which is probably a great compliment to them.
