There's a more aggressive effort underway as the FBI and Missouri police have a special task force whose mission is to get the most violent offenders off the street. That has resulted in a Missouri drug trafficker who was also connected to 9 murders being sent to prison on a life sentence - twice.

The United States Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Missouri shared a bulletin detailing what just happened to one of the most violent criminals in the St. Louis area for the past decade and a half. Anthony “TT” Jordan, age 38 from St. Louis, Missouri was sentenced to two life sentences in prison plus 5 years on top of that for these crimes he was just convicted of:

  • 1 count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine
  • 1 count of possession of firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime
  • 9 counts of use of a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime resulting in death

Jordan was convicted of having a role in the following murders:

  • April 19, 2008, murders of Al Walters, Linnie Jackson and Keith Burks.
  • Feb. 3, 2010, murders of Marquis Jones and Keairrah Johnson.
  • June 25, 2013, murder of Anthony “Blinky” Clark.
  • Dec. 29, 2013, murders of Robert “Parker G” Parker and Clara Walker.
  • Jan. 21, 2014, murder of Michail “Yellow Mack” Gridiron.

His reign of terror came to and end due to many federal and local law enforcement agencies including the FBI and the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Homeland Security Investigations, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and the St. Louis County Police Department. All of these agencies were a part of work done by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force that "identifies, disrupts, and dismantles the highest-level criminal organizations" according to the US Attorney's Office.
