Missouri Metal Manufacturing Plant to Layoff 61 Workers

A metal fabrication facility in Missouri has notified the state that they will be making a major reduction of their workforce which will impact 61 workers.

The Missouri Jobs site confirms that this plant located at 303 W Major St in Kearney, Missouri will be laying off workers

Cornerstone Building Brands issued a WARN notice to Missouri regulators detailing what they're about to do:

"This reduction in force will affect 61 employees who work at this facility...The reduction in force is expected to be permanent...All affected employees have been notified of their separation dates and that their separation from employment will be permanent. Affected employees are expected to be separated from employment on or around October 19, 2026."
