
US Marshals Busted Illinois Fugitive Wanted for Violent Stabbing
There is no law enforcement agency in America that is better at tracking down hard-to-find dangerous fugitives. The US Marshals just jumped into action yet again as they busted a fugitive in Illinois who was on the run after allegedly being involved in a violent stabbing incident.
The US Marshals just announced the arrest of a man in Illinois who had evaded law enforcement - until now. They say that Ralwin Galito Perez, 30, of Chicago was allegedly involved in a verbal altercation that suddenly became violent where the victim was stabbed in the chest and the arm. This incident happened in the Loop area of downtown Chicago on March 18, 2025.
The investigation led the marshals to a home on the 100 block of West 87th Street in Chicago where they found Galito Perez and he was taken into custody without incident. He has now been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
The arrest of this wanted fugitive in Illinois was done by the U. S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Chicago Police Department. Ralwin Galito Perez is being held in a detention facility in Chicago until he can face the charges against him. This is yet another successful operation by the US Marshals who specialize in identifying, locating and apprehending dangerous offenders.
