This brings to mind the theme song for the St. Louis Cardinals back in their World Series season of 1987. It was Glenn Frey's song "The Heat is On".

This song is now about to become the soundtrack for the end of May and beginning of June 2023 for Missouri especially. It looks like the Farmer's Almanac forecast that we shared a few months ago about the fact that we should expect a "wet broiling summer" is about to come true.
