The Sunset Home in Quincy is hosting a fundraiser celebrating their 125th Anniversary tonight at BoodaLu Steakhouse in Quincy. All proceeds will benefit their elevator modernization fund. The event will be held at BoodaLu Steakhouse in Quincy from 5:30 until 8 p.m. and the theme is a Wine Pull to generate donations.   The ticket cost is $50.00 per person which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and a cash bar. The Wine Pull will be the event of the evening.  They will have 100 bottles of donated wine, which are wrapped and placed in the inventory rack.  A guest will buy a cork for the opportunity to “pull” a bottle of wine at a cost of $25 for one pull and $40 for two pulls.

Included in the Wine Pull inventory are exceptional bottles of wine generously donated by David Nuessen. They include Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Product of France, 2002, Bordeaux. The current average sale price at auction is valued at over $800.  Plus a second bottle:  Chateau Rieussec, Sauternes, Product of France, 2001 is valued at over $189.
