What is the Scariest Haunted House in the Tri-State Area [Poll]
It's October, which means Halloween's coming, which means it's time to start visiting haunted houses! In our area there are several haunted houses, haunted trails, haunted woods, even a haunted church that Halloween lovers can visit during the month. Which one is the scariest? Vote for your favorite!
The Hannibal Jaycees Haunted House is open every Friday and Saturday in October, including Halloween night! Hours are 7:30 to midnight. $10 Regular Pass. $15 combo gets you entry into the maze and the Haunted House, plus twenty paintballs for the outside shooting gallery.
Haunted Hollow Haunted Trail in Palmyra is also open Fridays and Saturdays in October. Tickets are $10 per person.
The POPS Club Haunted Woods operates on Saturday nights, weather permitting, in October from 7-11 p.m. $10 per person. Half a mile of twisting and turning trails filled with all that spooks, creeps, slithers and screams.
The Hannibal Haunted Church is open every Friday and Saturday in Oct. Admission $10 Adults , $7 for kids 12 & under.
ExScream Nightmarez in Keokuk is open Friday and Saturday nights in October beginning October 9 from 6-10 p.m. $7 admission. Entrance in the rear of the building. It is a 15 room maze staffed by all volunteers. 100% handicap accessible.
Whispering Oaks Campground's Haunted Forest Haunted Forest is an area in the woods at Whispering Oaks Campground near Mendon that is decorated and has live haunters ready to scare people that walk through. October 9-10 and October 15-17 from 7-11 p.m.
