There are plenty of opportunities throughout the year to be a part of trivia contests but have you ever been a part of a Christmas “Treevia” contest.

The Quincy Salvation Army will be presenting an afternoon of Christmas-themed trivia to be held at The Kroc Center on Sunday, December 9, for the third annual Christmas "Treevia".

Christmas "Treevia" is a family-friendly event open to all ages that focuses on testing participants’ knowledge of Christmas, including traditions, movies, songs, and more.  It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a laid back environment filled with laughter with reminiscing and a nice change of pace during a hectic time of the year.

Those interested in participating can gather a team of up to 8 participants at a cost of $10 per individual. Participants are also encouraged to wear their best ugly Christmas sweater as prizes will be awarded. Seating is limited. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. No alcohol will be permitted at the event.

The doors will open at 12:30 p.m. with the contest beginning at 1:30 p.m. Registrations are encouraged by Thursday, December 6. For more information or to register your team, contact Matt Schmidt by calling 217-231-5694 or emailing matt_schmidt@usc.salvationarmy.org. All proceeds benefit The Salvation Army’s Christmas Campaign.
