Ukrainian Nuclear Escalation Scenario Shows Missouri Nuked First
The simulation begins with the world situation much as it is right now with a ground conflict in the Ukraine. As it progresses, an escalation happens and the result is a stunning first strike with Missouri being among the first US targets annihilated.
This interesting simulation was conducted by the Military and Foreign Affairs Network on YouTube. It begins with anti-tank weapons being given to the Ukraine. After more advanced US weapons are used by forces in the Ukraine, the simulation shows that Russia eventually decides to make a first strike against the United States. The targets they choose are interesting. This is one of the first sites hit by the Russians. It's Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.
The Russians attack on multiple US targets with nuclear missiles results in a massive US retaliatory strike. The Russian response to that includes more devastation for Missouri. The St. Louis area is nearly wiped off of the map with multiple missiles target at that region with more than 2.2 million dead in the St. Louis area alone, but Jefferson City is also hit in the 2nd wave of missiles.
The result of this simulation is surprising in that many who live in the rural parts of Missouri believe they would be spared if a worst-case scenario nuclear war breaks out. This map shows even the most rural parts of northern Missouri would be unlivable.
Let's face it. ANY nuclear scenario is going to result in an apocalyptic life for anyone that survives. This very recent simulation of a very plausible escalation of the Russian/Ukrainian conflict is just a reminder of how really close we are to disaster. All it takes is one flawed decision before even places like Missouri that are far away from the fighting will be devastated forever.
