Missouri Getaway Where Airbnb Beats Hotel Prices

If you're looking for an epic vacation, but you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, there's a popular spot in Missouri that was just recognized as having Airbnb's that are cheaper to stay at than hotels.

There's an interesting new read from Cheapism that lists the places where renting an Airbnb is finally cheaper than a hotel and Branson, Missouri is one of the top destinations on their list. They said "In Branson, Missouri, people often choose Airbnb as an alternative because its houses are located within the city, not in a remote resort." They also mention that being able to bring your own food back to an Airbnb is preferable over a hotel that may not allow that. There are also a few that have special fishing perks which is epic near Branson.

I can speak from experience about my family staying in hotels in Branson. We didn't have any real big problems from what I can recall, but the hotel beds in the cheaper places we stayed at were...well, let's just call them sketchy and I'll leave it at that. I'm really not surprised that many online are choosing the numerous Branson, Missouri Airbnb options. The more choices travelers have in this busy tourist part of Missouri, the better.
