Missouri Is the Most Likely Place to See a Tornado Sunday
I can't remember a year where the tornado season has continued as long as it has now. An updated outlook for a potential severe weather outbreak on Sunday indicates that the most likely place to see a tornado is in the heart of Missouri.
I was aware that forecasters were watching storm developments on Sunday, but I was not aware that Missouri was in the middle of it until I just saw this post from digital meteorologist Ryan Hall this morning.
What does the National Weather Service say about Sunday in Missouri?
NOAA's Storm Prediction Center's convective outlook for Sunday confirms that all of Missouri has some level of threat for severe storms on Sunday, but the most likely area is south of I-70 near Columbia according to their newly-updated map.

Here are the exact words from their meteorologists in the discussion about the Sunday storms. I've added emphasis.
Large hail, severe winds, and tornadoes will be possible...A localized
corridor with greater tornado threat likely exists along this boundary from eastern Missouri into southern Illinois and perhaps southwest Indiana, but too much uncertainty from prior storms precludes any higher tornado probabilities at this time"
It does not appear that this threat will be as high as the one Missouri and Illinois dealt with a couple days ago, but it does mean that you need to be weather-aware if you'll be in this region Sunday. It's a continuation of one of Missouri's longest tornado seasons in recent memory.
