Scary Reason Storm Chasers Will Be in Missouri & Illinois Friday
Many storm chasers are planning a trip to Missouri and Illinois Friday. When you look at what meteorologists are saying about the possibilities that day, you'll understand the scary reason why.
Thanks to the fact that my wife is a meteorologist, my family follows many prominent storm chasers including Reed Timmer and others. When you see what the NOAA Storm Prediction Center is saying about conditions that are expected to develop, you'll see the reason why. There is a good chance for extremely severe storms will be developing along a front that cuts right through the Hannibal, Missouri and Quincy, Illinois area.

What I'm recommending is that you check for updates between now and Friday from the NOAA Storm Prediction Center and the National Weather Service in St. Louis as they're doing daily updates on what could be a wild Friday of weather in both Missouri and Illinois.
Even internet celebrity weatherman Frankie MacDonald is concerned about storm possibilities on Friday.
This is the reason you're likely to see many vehicles with anemometers mounted on the outside driving through the tri-state area beginning Friday.
