The meteorologists are saying that skies may look "milky" during the day Wednesday, but most of the smoke is very high in the atmosphere. The wildfires have been raging in the Alberta part of Canada and there's no sign of them slowing down anytime soon.

Be sure to check out the National Weather Service Weather Story page early Wednesday for updates on how the wildfires and their smoke may very well affect skies over Missouri and Illinois moving forward.
