Keokuk’s Rollin’ on The River Blues Festival to Offer Scholarships
Since 2012, the Rollin’ on the River Blues Festival Committee has offered scholarships to area High School Seniors who plan to major or minor in a musically inspired field and who demonstrate a financial need.
This year applications have been sent to Clark County R-1, Canton, Keokuk, Central Lee, Warsaw and Hamilton High Schools. "A total of 20 Scholarships have been awarded since 2012 with plans to continue this this program well into the future, with the support of festival donors and fans" according to Rollin' On The River committee member Irene Fish.
The committee encourages anyone interested in this program to donate anytime by sending a check to: Rollin’ on the River, P.O. Box 1391, Keokuk, Iowa 52632 with an endorsement to Scholarships.
By the way, the 31st Rollin’ on the River Blues Festival will be held August 16 & 17, 2019, in Victory Park, in Keokuk.
