The St. Patrick's Art Crawl is set for Friday, March 16th and is FREE to attend. This is a great opportunity to see art from local artists.

Artists from in and around Quincy will be showcasing their work at several venues throughout the Quincy area and fans of all ages are encouraged to attend. While the art crawl itself is free to attend, individual venues will be offering specials and activities that may cost a little money.

There is no need to sign up ahead of time. If you are interested, just check out the art crawl map to see which venues are participating and show up. It's that easy. If you know a group of people that would like to attend this event, event organizers suggest putting a carpool together. Some venues will be close together, but there are a few that will be a bit of a hike and driving might be easier (make sure you bring a DD as alcohol will be available at some of the venues).

Events like these just reinforce why Quincy was recently named one of the most artistic towns in Illinois. For more details about the art crawl and to see all the venues check out the Facebook page or log on to artsquincy.org.
