Everything You Need to Know About Quincy’s Grand Prix of Karting

After a 17 year hiatus, the Gran Prix of Karting will return to Quincy next month. The event will be held at South Park in Quincy on Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10, and is free to attend.  There will be food from Hy-Vee and The Butcher Block available for purchase along with Miller beer products from Mississippi Belle Distributing Company.

For many who were here before when it was held in Quincy, you already know how much fun it was to watch the races and enjoy the day in South Park.  For those new to the event, you may have some questions about just what it is all about.

With that in mind, that I took some time and interviewed Terry Traeder, the event organizer, in hopes of answering those questions surrounding the Karting event.
