Sometimes it's better not to revisit the past. This is a perfect example. It's a southern Illinois hospital that has been abandoned for more than 40 years that many believe is haunted. There are pictures and videos to prove that theory true.

According to what I can find, the Environmental Protection Agency tried to clean up the Southern Medical Center in Cairo, Illinois 17 years ago. It does not appear that effort was successful. See what remains for yourself...if you dare.

According to Jamie in Wonderland, there were plans to demolish this old southern Illinois hospital years ago, but I can't verify it ever happened. The video walkthrough is even creepier than the pictures.
