We knew that relief from the heat was coming to Missouri soon, but this is ridiculous. The National Weather Service out of St. Louis shared this unbelievable graphic describing what's possible this weekend for many parts of Missouri.

The shades of blue represent the probability chance of frost. The darker the blue, the better chance there will be frost. Notice that many parts of northeast Missouri especially near Kirksville and Moberly are in the better than 70% likelihood range.

We already knew that a cooldown was coming this weekend with many areas of Missouri only seeing highs in the 60's, but I don't think anyone expected frost yet. Leave it to Missouri weather to plan a sudden surprise.

This big change in the weather comes right after we heard from NOAA's Climate Prediction Center that there's a 71% chance of a Super El Niño which could mean a warmer and drier winter. Right...

Don't like the weather in Missouri? Wait 10 minutes and it's almost guaranteed that it will change - in this case to the opposite extreme.
