More bad news on the job front in Missouri as Tyson has just announced 4 more plant closures including 2 in the Show Me State.

I saw AOL share the news today of Tyson's announcement of 4 more plant closures. One is in Little Rock, Arkansas while another is in Corydon, Indiana. Here are the two affected Missouri Tyson plant closures:

• Noel, Missouri
• Dexter, Missouri

Why is Tyson closing some of its plant locations?

The AOL story says that the company posted a surprise loss last quarter and has been working on savings in their production lines, but that also sadly includes plants and jobs.

You might recall that Tyson closed corporate offices in Chicago last year and moved them to Arkansas in a consolidation move. There's no word if more plant closures are to come or if this is it for now.
