All of Missouri has a threat of severe weather Sunday, but if you live in the southeastern part of the state, you should pay special attention as forecasters say that part of Missouri is in real danger of seeing strong twisters on Sunday.

NOAA's Storm Prediction Center has now escalated the storm danger on Sunday to include southeastern Missouri in an enhanced area for strong storms.

The exact words of NOAA forecasters should be something you pay attention to in southeastern Missouri:

"Very large hail, damaging winds, and strong tornadoes are expected."

Please pay attention to storm development and warnings from the National Weather Service on Sunday in all parts of Missouri. It does not appear that we'll experience the historic damage that came with the March 14 storm system, but the potential is there for another damaging day of tornadoes in Missouri.
