Kids in the Quincy area will benefit when you win at the Bids for Kids auction. This is the 25th year that the Quincy Noon Kiwanis has hosted this charity event. This year, it’s an on-line only auction.

Bids for Kids starts Thursday, March 25 at noon and ends Sunday, March 28 at 7 p.m. You’ll need to register here to place a bid. You can also find a list of items up for auction. There’s a huge range of goods and services, everything from gift baskets, to maid service, memberships, golf, and restaurant gift cards.

The auction is a big fundraiser for children’s events and programs. The money is distributed as grants to local non-profit groups that serve kids. In the past, the proceeds have provided dictionaries to every third grader in Adams County. The event has provided Christmas parties and day trips for low-income kids.

Bids for Kids is hosted by the Quincy Noon Kiwanis club and platinum sponsors Keck Heating & Air, Quincy Medical Group, WGEM, and Blessing Health System.
