Don't know where to watch the eclipse on August 21st? The city of Quincy is hosting a party on the river with food, drinks, live music, and (of course) the solar eclipse!

Eclipse on the River will be at Clat Adams park the afternoon of the August 21 solar eclipse. Everything will kick off at 11:30 am with The Butcher Block grilling out (11:30 am-1:30 pm). The eclipse begins at 11:47 AM and be will be complete by 2:40 PM.

Free viewing glasses will be available to the first 100 people in attendance. If you miss out on these glasses, or want to get them ahead of time, you can do so by going to Quincy Medical Group.

During the eclipse there will be events that you can take part in including Moon Child Yoga & Meditation by Mahala and live music by Rodney Hart & Friends of Second String Music. Arts Quincy will be on hand to help attendees make their own viewing glasses as well.

This is a kid friendly event and is free to attend. If you would like more information about Eclipse on the River, click here!
