A pilot from Moscow's license has been suspended after video emerged on social media of a man duct taped to the bottom of the helicopter he was flying.

The whole stunt was put together by YouTuber Mikhail Litvin, a 21-year-old internet star in Russia.

Zheka Namitov, 25, was the one seen hanging from the bottom of the chopper. A stronger support of some kind can be seen around his waist, but the rest of him is attached to the bottom of the helicopter by duct tape.

He was flown up to a decent height before coming back down to safety on the ground.

The prank, however, has landed 31-year-old pilot Alexander Nazarov in some hot water.

He's being investigated by authorities with the Russian Investigative Committee, who have suspended his flying license suspended until it's complete and a decision can be made.

A statement from the committee reads, "The pilot, acting on the instructions of the blogger, allowed the participants in the video to attach the man to the lower part of the helicopter fuselage with adhesive tape. He flew in a way that did not meet safety requirements, putting the life and health of the hero of the plot in danger."

In response, Namitov claims that there were unseen safety measures taken.

Litvin has nearly 7.5 million subscribers on YouTube, so surely he has the money to cover any fines facing Nazarov.
