Nature Trail in St. Louis Referred to as “Heaven on Earth”
Saying something is like "Heaven" is high praise considering that most of us have never been there. However, that's exactly what's been said about a nature trail near St. Louis.

The website referring to a Missouri nature trail as "Absolutely Heaven on Earth" is Only In Your State. The "heavenly" place they're talking about is Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center.
The unique thing about Powder Valley is it's not located in the middle of the Missouri wilderness. Yes, it is 115 acres of hickory trees and trails, but it's in Kirkwood which is basically metro St. Louis.
Don't be surprised if you encounter deer along the trails there.
Another nice aspect of Powder Valley is all the trails are paved which makes it easy for anyone even if you have physical challenges. There's an aquarium and bee hive along with indoor exhibits.
Do I (like Only In Your State) consider Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center "Heaven on Earth"? Nope. But, that doesn't mean it isn't an essential visit if you are anywhere near St. Louis and would like to also enjoy some quiet outdoor time with nature.
