You can say whatever you want about Missouri and you might even be right, but there's no arguing about how awesome the natural geographical features of the state are. Someone counted all the natural springs in the state and the number is beyond incredible.

I saw this conversation on the Missouri sub-Reddit which included a jaw-dropping map.

Springs in Missouri. We have many of the largest in North America

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources counted the number of natural springs and they say it's around 4,400 and I believe they're where that fun map originates from.

I was born and raised in Missouri yet I'm not deaf to the sometimes fair criticisms of my home state, but the natural beauty of the state really isn't debatable. Natural springs are just one of many Missouri excellences and don't even get me started on all of our caves.
