KMBC in Kansas City reports that Garland "Joey" Nelson of Braymer, Missouri pled guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the killing of 24-year-old Justin Diemel and 35-year-old Nicholas Diemel of Wisconsin. They traveled to Missouri to meet Nelson to collect on a quarter million dollar cattle deal in July of 2019.

When the brothers didn't return home to Wisconsin, an investigation found their rented Ford F250 truck and eventually their burned remains on a farm. All of the evidence led back to Garland "Joey" Nelson who admitted to the killings.

Nelson's confession included grisly details. He said that he first shot the brothers, then placed their bodies in barrels and burned them. Once burned, the remains of one brother was placed in cow manure on his farm and the other ended up in a bucket that traveled to Nebraska, but was found later.

Garland "Joey" Nelson of Braymer, Missouri will now serve 2 life sentence consecutively according to the reports. Now, the families of the Wisconsin brothers can have some peace knowing this tragic 3 year prosecution process is now over and the killer will be behind bars for the rest of his life.
