If you live in Missouri, but don't have a reliable umbrella, now might be a good time to find one. Multiple meteorologists including the National Weather Service are warning that Missouri will be slammed by heavy rain in early March.

Let's start with a graphic that the National Weather Service in St. Louis shared earlier today

The NOAA Climate Prediction Center is also showing Missouri is likely to experience heavier than normal precipitation in the first 8 to 14 days of March.

This warning isn't a vague reference to hypothetical rainfall. The National Weather Service has just issued a hazards outlook for March 3 through March 7 which places nearly all of Missouri under an advisory for heavy rain being likely.

The heavy rain threat doesn't end after the first week of March, either. The NOAA Storm Prediction Center has also issued a heavy precipitation advisory for March 7 through March 11, too.

What do the actual NWS forecasts predict?

Your mileage may vary depending on what part of Missouri you live in, but the current forecast for Hannibal, Missouri shows a chance of rain every single day for the first week of March. From what I've seen from computer models so far, Friday, March 6 is a day to watch for especially heavy rain. Some places in Missouri will likely see several inches of rain that day alone.
