The internet can be a great thing because information can travel quickly and reach many. This is not an example of that. In this case, there was false information that spread like wildfire claiming a truck full of kids was just found in Illinois by police. This is not true on many levels.

For the record, here's one of the original video shares on Instagram where it appears that police are emptying a Coca-Cola truck with children inside. Many alluded to this happening in Illinois which is only partially correct.

What's going on here is a toy drive in the Quad Cities area of Illinois and specifically this was in Davenport, Iowa at a toy drive as confirmed by Reason Magazine. So many people shared this claiming it was evidence of massive child trafficking in Illinois that even Snopes had to debunk it. For what it's worth, I don't believe Snopes is right all the time either, but in this case they are.

Here's the problem with videos like this being shared. The sad reality is that many children ARE trafficked by evil people and there is evidence that it's happening. But, when false stuff like this gets passed along, it makes the really credible reports seem less believable and that is the real tragedy here.
