The annual Frontier Settlement Day is rapidly approaching and work has been on going in preparation for that event.  Unfortunately, Mother Nature has not be co-operating. Due to last Saturday's rain, the workday in the Log Cabin Village has been moved to this Saturday, September 3, from 8:30 to noon.  Volunteers are needed to help prepare the Lincoln-era Log Cabin Village for this year's Frontier Settlement Day scheduled for Saturday, September 10th.  Projects to be accomplished are: sweep the three Log Cabins and the Log Church, weed the brick plaza area, and spruce up the grounds around the cabins.

The Village is located on Quinsippi Island, Quincy, Illinois which can be accessed via All America Park off Bonansinga Drive.
