This Kansas City, Missouri Area Survival Condo Even Has Cool Pool
If you imagine yourself preparing for the end of days in style, you should see a Kansas City, Missouri area survival condo that is so exotic it has a climbing wall and a very cool pool.
About 15 years ago, Larry Hall created what he calls the Survival Condo Project somewhere near Kansas City, Missouri. Business Insider said he paid around $20 million dollars for the property which is a renovated missile silo that could hold around 12 families.
The location is vague on purpose so that the residents there have privacy which would be even more important in the event of a world crisis where people would be seeking protection. When you're driving down the road next to the condos, you wouldn't even know that luxury residences are directly under your feet.
This is what the entrance looks like on the surface. Those doors can withstand a direct nuclear bomb blast.
Once inside, it's all luxury with a gourmet kitchen that includes a video picture on the wall to give the impression that life is normal outside even if the apocalypse is upon us.
No expense is spared as there's this pool that would be at home in a 5-star hotel.
Want to stay in shape with your own climbing wall? You have it in this condo.
There's even a nearly full-size movie theater complete with a deep library of movie titles to choose from.
When this survival condo first became available a few years ago, the cost was around $3.5 million per floor according to Business Insider. The official website says that work is underway on a second survival condo facility.
Let's face it. If you're suddenly dealing with a full-out nuclear war, might as well face the end in style in the Kansas City, Missouri area...if you can afford it.
