There are already players holding out of mini camps across the NFL, and there are two teams that cannot afford to sign their current starting Quarterbacks to big money long-term contracts even IF they hold out...

If you want to hear my thoughts on whether the Miami Dolphins and the Dallas Cowboys should sign Dak and Tua to big-money contracts watch my YouTube video below!

Let me lay it out plainly...

Teams should be more comfortable doing what the Baltimore Ravens did with Joe Flacco years ago. Flacco was a slightly above-average NFL starting Quarterback who wanted a big payday, the Ravens didn't sign him and he bet on himself and played extremely well in the final year of his rookie deal, so well that he led the Ravens to a Super Bowl victory, and they of course then signed him to a big long term contract.

The Miami Dolphins MUST stay strong with their starting QB Tua Tagovailoa and follow this same gameplan. If Tua can stay healthy this year, put up big numbers, and win a playoff game, or more, then have the big contract discussions. If he can't do all three of those things this year then move off him. The WORST thing you can do as a franchise is be overpaying someone who can't win playoff games...

Speaking of overpaying someone who can't win playoff games...Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Dak had a very strong year last year, but it ended with a HORRIBLE game at home in the playoffs losing to the Packers. The Cowboys have already paid Dak a LOT of money, they don't owe him anything. If Dak wins a Super Bowl this year or gets the team to a Super Bowl then you have to pay him next offseason but don't pay him until he does that. If the Cowboys have another year of disappointment the team has to move on from Dak.
