Summer 2023 officially starts on Wednesday, June 21st, and if you are looking for somewhere epic to travel during the Summer you should check out the infamous Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. According to Traveling Lifestyle, Lake of the Ozarks was just named one of the best places to visit in July 2023. Lake of the Ozarks is on the list with places like New York City, Yellowstone National Park, Bar Harbor in Maine, and Sequoia National Park in California. Why is Lake of the Ozarks on the list? According to the site, they say...

Growing up in Chicagoland I never gave the Lake of the Ozarks much thought, but I will say once you go and experience it you will 10000% agree with it being on any list for a summer destination. It truly is the quintessential lake life summer retreat, there are so many great bars, restaurants, shops, and activities to do while visiting the lake. If you want a city experience for a summer trip sure, head to Chicago or New York, but if you want an authentic lake vacation you cant beat the Lake of the Ozarks.
