Hannibal’s Big Muddy BBQ Named Part of Ultimate BBQ Road Trip
I have a deep conviction that BBQ should be its own food group. Change my mind. Actually, don't waste your time. It's not possible. My love of all things BBQ is one of the reasons I was pretty psyched to see a Hannibal BBQ joint get included on what is described as the "ultimate BBQ road trip" in Missouri.
Shout out to Big Muddy BBQ in Hannibal for getting this nice national recognition. Only In Your State recommended them as a stop on their "ultimate" 7 city BBQ road trip. Big Muddy BBQ is on a list that also includes some legendary stops in Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri. That's quite a nod.
I'll play the role of Captain Obvious and say that the BBQ at Big Muddy played a big part in getting included in this road trip list, but the article also mentions sides such as "candied yams, baked beans, and sweet potato". Excuse me while I grab a fork.
Normally I could not give a care in the world for what the internet thinks is "best". However, I am always a fan of local Hannibal and Quincy places getting some notoriety. Well done, Big Muddy BBQ.
