Guy Fieri Says These are the Best Fries in Illinois Hands Down

When you want an opinion on food, it's helpful to turn to the true professionals. When it comes to French fries, who better to declare the best fries in Illinois than TV food celebrity Guy Fieri who thinks he found the best in the Land of Lincoln hands down.

Have you ever been to the DMK Burger Bar? Guy Fieri has and he featured their "Real-Deal Truffle Fries" on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. These fries look spectacular although you do have to brave the streets of Chicago to sample them.

I have only one sentence. You had me at hello parmesan and truffle cream.

The look even better once you start adding cheese to them. Ah, French fry cheese...my favorite food group.

Guy Fieri shared a quick video from his visit that was featured on Food Network where the chef shared his secret...which is to add the seasoning right after the fries come out of the frying while they're still a little moist.

This is another example of why I can't watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives anymore without gaining 10 pounds. A guilty TV and food pleasure.
