Florida Man Beat Victim With Golf Club After Being Told Course Was Closing
A man in Florida has been accused of beating someone with a golf club after not taking the news well that the course he was enjoying was closing.
Officers said that David Foster allegedly attacked an employee at the New Smyrna Beach Golf and Country Club with a golf club until the head of the club came off.
Deputies said that the employee had told Foster he was upset when he was told the course was closing and that it was time for him to leave.
"The guy who beat him told him he would kill him and reached behind him, grabbed a club, a driver, out of his bag, and with one hard blow on the back of the head, knocked him to the ground," one employee told WOGX after viewing video of the attack.
WOGX was told that the victim was so shaken up by the attack at the golf course that he reportedly quit his job.
