‘Enemy’ Owned Farmland Next to 2 Missouri Bases a Grave Concern

I'm no military expert, but I don't understand why the powers that be allowed this to happen. Did you know that China owns much farmland adjacent to two vital military bases in Missouri? It's being called a "grave national concern" for a good reason.

I was unaware of this situation until it was mentioned today by the New York Post. They shared intelligence and a map showing that the Chinese own land next to 19 United States military bases including both Fort Leonard Wood and Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. The map shows the Chinese-owned land near Fort Leonard Wood is located just to the south of the base.

The University of Pennsylvania shared a study asking the question whether war between the United States and China is inevitable. Some experts say yes while the United States Department of Defense says no.

Call me crazy, but I'd be very paranoid about any potential enemy having front row seats to vital bases where stealth bombers call home. Perhaps I've also watched too many movies, but I do recall the 2012 version of "Red Dawn" involved a North Korean war with China's assistance.

Yes, that was movie fiction, but there is growing national security concerns about China having land so close to United States military assets. That concern is something I definitely share.
