2 Missouri Men Claim Navy Secrets Hidden Under Carthage
I was born and raised in Missouri which means I've heard my fair share of crazy stories, but this might be the one that takes the care. A new video share claims that two men encountered what they described as US Navy secrets 500 feet under Carthage, Missouri.
I have just come across this new share from What Lurks Beneath and I encourage you to listen to his full telling of what two Missouri men say they found in the Carthage Underground.
I won't give away all the details, but here's the short version. The story starts when Pat Garrett was loading two ATV's into his pickup truck in Carthage, Missouri. He invited his friend Michael to ride into the underground tunnels which used to be a marble quarry. It had been transformed into an underground storage facility. Pat knew the area because he helped build office spaces underground nine years prior. He and Michael planned to ride down into the underground on the ATV's. Little did they know what awaited them in those tunnels.
The men estimated that they rode up to 8 miles inside those tunnels when they came upon an area that looked like it was walled off next to a sign that said "Naval Authoritative Zone". Pat got up and examined the wall, but it wasn't really a wall. He was able to put his hand through it realizing that it was only a projection or hologram. He and his friend got back on the ATV's and proceeded through the fake wall and found more tunnels on the other side. They could immediately tell there was a "heaviness" in the air. It wasn't long before they came upon two very odd creatures in the distance.
I won't spoil the rest of the story, but both men ended up desperately fleeing for their lives. They also encountered officers who warned them that they were never to return to these tunnels or else. While this sounds like an outrageously fabricated story, there has been confirmation of the VIN number of the ATV and it was found to really be registered to Pat Garrett's name, so there is some proof of the origins of this story. About the rest? That's up to you to decide what really lurks in those miles of tunnels under Carthage, Missouri.
