Admiral Coontz Recreational Center Summer Hours Announced

The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has announced the summer hours for the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.

Beginning  Monday the Admiral Coontz Recreation Area will be open 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday from June 6 to September 6. The exception will be for Senior Adult dances, which will still be noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays.

There is a walking track (with 12 laps equaling 1 mile) and two basketball courts. The Pickleball courts, sports equipment, games and puzzles are still available for use. An attendant will be on duty to lend out equipment.

The Play without Boundaries Sensory Room is also open during regular hours. There are games, puzzles and supplies for all-inclusive indoor play for adults and children.
