There's not much left inside of what used to be a fun little waterpark in Illinois. While much of the structure remains intact, it's a shadow of its former self before it was closed after being condemned.

I came across this walkthrough of what used to be the CoCo Key Waterpark/Hotel in Rockford, Illinois that was done a few years ago by Lost Vlog. According to the Rockford Register Star, it was condemned and closed way back in September of 2015.

I found a post on Facebook that says this Illinois waterpark was closed due to "continuing lack of regard for public health and safety". Too bad. It looks like it might have been a fun destination before it was deserted and the graffiti artists took it over.

The Google Reviews from over a decade ago were pretty frightening with one person saying "showers that don't work, peeling wallpaper, mildew in the bathrooms". Another said "I think by far the worst hotel I have ever been to" and they mentioned a false fire alarm that woke everyone up at 2am. Not good and likely part of the reason why this Rockford, Illinois place didn't survive.
