In yet another sign that Spring is almost here the City of Quincy has announced that "Yard Waste Collection" will resume in Quincy the week of March 18.  Evans Recycling will again be collecting yard waste in marked containers and the special yard waste paper bags. Marked containers must be marked with a 2 inch wide stripe in a contrasting color 12 inches from the top of the container.

Meanwhile, branches are not to exceed 1” in diameter and 4’ in length. The City of Quincy and Evans Recycling would like to remind citizens that trash, garbage, or recycle items should not be placed in yard waste bags.
