The Quincy Farmers Market is moving back to Washington Park!

Due to coronavirus concerns the past couple weeks the Quincy Farmer's Market was a drive-thru only market, which ended up being a fun different experience, but with Illinois moving into phase 3 starting Friday (May 29th) the Farmer's Market is moving back to its home at Washington Park!

The Quincy Farmer's Market announced on their Facebook page today that they are headed back to their home at Washington Park in The District. They announced loudly that you will be able to "WALK THROUGH" the market which opens Saturday, May 30th at 8 am and goes until 1 pm. But they also will have a curbside drive-thru area to accommodate for all of their customers, that drive-thru area will be located at the corner of 5th street and Hampshire. There are a ton of businesses that will be there this Saturday including: Sutter Produce Co, Althoff Farms, Sharrow Farms, Wilson’s Country Kitchen, Friends Hill Apiary, Stone River Goat Milk Products, and more! For a full list of all the businesses participating in this Saturday's Quincy Farmer's Market, and to see what they have to offer click here!

It is a welcome site to see the Quincy Farmer's Market returning to Washington Park! I have said it before but I love walking through the farmer's market with my dog Murphy, its so nice to be able to shop and support local, I certainly can not wait to get out their Saturday morning and welcome the Quincy Farmer's Market back! Will you be there?
