The Annual Veteran’s Day Parade in Quincy will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 10am on Maine Street.  There is still time to enter the parade at no cost.  If your business or organization would like to be a part of the 5th Annual Veteran's parade contact Dick McKinney at 430-2912.

Dick and Jim Ponsot have been the driving force behind this parade since it's inception.  They are still accepting donations to fund a flyover of a B-25 Bomber.   To secure this aircraft for the parade it will cost the committee nearly $2000. They already have $1000 but need your help in raising the rest needed.

Donations for the flyover fund are being accepted by the committee. Anyone wishing to donate can do so by sending a check to:  The Veteran’s Parade Committee, 801 Pawn Avenue, Quincy, Illinois 62305.

Make sure you mark your calendars and come down and salute the veterans in our area in the parade on November 10th and keep your eyes to the sky for that flyover.  It's one you won't want to miss.
