U-Babe has Been Found!!!!!
Congratulations to Shawn Vollmer of Quincy who found Y101’s lovable and elusive groundhog U-Babe. Shawn found U-Babe at Hollister-Whitney in Quincy. For finding U-Babe and bringing him back to the radio station, she won a $250 gift certificate for ground pork from Dedert Quality Meats. The U-Babe contest was sponsored by the Illinois Pork Producers, the Western Illinois Pork Producers and Dedert Quality Meats.
Thanks to Hollister-Whitney and their General Manager Frank Musholt for taking such good care of U-Babe while he was loose. Frank was kind enough to take him on walks, feed him and be his caregiver. Word has it, he didn't want to give him up. Congratulations again to Shawn Vollmer.
