Mass Layoff Shocks 259 at Illinois Production Facility

One of the largest manufacturing facilities in Illinois appears to be cutting back. A new notice submitted to the state says a mass layoff is about to happen that will impact at least 259 workers.

The newest entry on the Illinois Work Net Center site comes from a huge manufacturing facility in Rochelle, Illinois. According to the WARN notice just posted there, Tyson Foods located at 600 Wiscold Drive in Rochelle, Illinois plans to layoff 259 with job cuts starting on August 15, 2025.
