The QHS / QND Boys Soccer Match Will Raise Money for the Honor Flight

The QHS and QND boys soccer match up is coming to Flinn Stadium on September 12. This is always a great match between the two schools. So why not make it even bigger than it already is?

QHS and QND will be giving back the the community this year by hosting a fundraiser for the Great River Honor Flight. The goal is $5000. This should be a no-brainer. Two great schools in a big game on the Flynn Stadium turf with a packed house. It don't get no better.

The pregame events include a hospitality tent for vets with pulled pork sandwiches, drinks and dessert starting at 4 p.m. There will be many activities going on that night, including a 50/50 raffle, a short parade of new recruits and the National Anthem by the QHS Marching Band. T-shirts are on sale now. They may be purchased online this weekend at qhssoccer.net. Click on the Great River Honor Flight link. There will be a silent auction with several items, as well. The JV teams from QHS and QND will play at 5:15.

This will be be a night to remember for everybody, and a way to pay tribute to our veterans.
