Tomorrow the next mission of the Great River Honor Flight program will head to Washington DC. This will be the 31st mission overall since the program started back in 2010 and will bring the total number of local veterans who have flown to Washington, D.C. for free to 967. This is also the first trip where every veteran going is from the Vietnam era.
It was a great time at the Admiral Coontz Armory in Hannibal back on February 21. I don't know where all the people came from but they did show up for the 32nd Annual Chilli Cook Off. Many people came to have a good time but also to support the Great River Honor Flight.
It’s comedy night this Saturday, April 4, at the Oakley Lindsay Center as Longhorn the Comedian and friends present their “laughter has no color” tour. Longhorn and 5 other comedians including Lee Lynch, Ty-Fu Panda, and Katrina Brown will have you in stitches beginning at 8 p.m.
