It seems like our country’s traditions are little by little going away. The most recent case in point was this week’s observance of Columbus Day in America.

One of the Amtrak trains that serves the Tri-State area, The Southwest Chief, was involved in a derailment today west of Ft. Dodge, Kansas shortly after midnight central time.
