It's being called the "most brown Christmas" in at least 2 decades. No kidding. I'm not complaining since I enjoy not shoveling snow or freezing my extremities. But, I also understand the ground (and the farmers) needs moisture. This current spring-like weather pattern now in winter isn't helping the ongoing Missouri drought conditions which are extreme in some areas.

There is a storm system that is predicted to be moving through Missouri right after Christmas Day. Perhaps we'll see some colder temps and precipitation out of that...or maybe not.
